Alleged WHCA Shooter's University a 'Breeding Ground' for Radical Ideology, Insiders Claim
Cal State Dominguez Hills, where WHCA shooting suspect Cole Allen received his master's, is facing scrutiny for its alleged far-left bias and suppression of conservative viewpoints.

Washington D.C. - The background of Cole Allen, the suspect in the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting, is raising serious questions about the state of higher education in America and its potential to foster radical ideologies. Allen's attendance at Cal State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), where he earned a master's degree in computer science in May 2025, has prompted insiders to speak out about the university's alleged far-left bias.
CSUDH, located in Carson, California, is described by multiple employees as an institution dominated by a far-left ideology that actively discourages dissenting opinions. These employees, who requested anonymity for fear of reprisal, paint a picture of a campus where conservative and independent voices are marginalized and even punished.
One CSUDH employee expressed a lack of surprise at Allen's alleged involvement in the shooting, stating that "Campus policy treats ICE like it is an invading army. There is constant talk of ‘the community under threat."' This employee suggested that such rhetoric, which demonizes government institutions, could contribute to a climate of hostility and even violence.
Concerns have also been raised about the university's excessive focus on race and division. The existence of three separate ethnic studies departments – Chicana/o Studies, Africana Studies, and Asian Pacific Studies – despite low enrollment numbers, is seen as evidence of misplaced priorities, particularly given the university's reported financial difficulties.
Furthermore, the employee alleged that faculty members who championed the implementation of an ethnic studies requirement throughout the CSU system were subsequently rewarded with administrative positions, suggesting a systemic bias in favor of leftist activism.
The Chicana/o Studies Department's public endorsement of Gaza in November 2023, following the October 7 Hamas terror attacks, is cited as another example of the university's tolerance for radical viewpoints. The department faced no official consequences for its stance, despite the controversial nature of its statement.
Employees who spoke to Fox News Digital also claimed that conservative and independent faculty members face scorn and censorship for expressing their opinions. Students with conservative beliefs, they alleged, risk retaliation from faculty members. One employee recounted an instance where a faculty member dismissed a student as unintelligent simply for being a libertarian.
The situation at CSUDH reflects a broader trend in American higher education, where leftist ideologies are increasingly dominant and dissenting viewpoints are actively suppressed. This trend poses a serious threat to academic freedom, intellectual diversity, and the pursuit of truth.
The case of Cole Allen serves as a wake-up call, highlighting the urgent need to reform our universities and restore a climate of intellectual openness and honest debate. The future of our nation depends on it.
